Affiliate Disclosure

1. The commitment

HostingProf participates in affiliate programs operated by hosting providers we review. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We disclose this material connection per FTC §255 (16 CFR Part 255) on every page containing such a link. Our scoring methodology is independent of commission rates; see /methodology. 2. Current affiliate partners

We currently participate in affiliate programs with the providers below. This list is maintained alongside DISCLOSURE_PAGE_FULL in lib/disclosure-copy.ts and updated whenever a new partnership starts or an existing one ends.

• RunPod — AI / GPU hosting.
• Vercel — modern-stack serverless and edge hosting.
• Hetzner — European self-hosting and dedicated servers.
• Cloudways — managed cloud hosting marketplace.
• Kinsta — managed WordPress and Node hosting on Google Cloud.
• DigitalOcean — developer cloud (droplets, managed databases, app platform).

3. How we score

Affiliate commissions do not enter the scoring rubric. Sub-scores are computed from measured performance, real billing, support-ticket transcripts, and reproducible evidence — full method documented on /methodology.

4. Why we still recommend it

A provider can be in our affiliate program AND be the right recommendation for your project. The two facts are independent. When a partner provider ranks below a non-partner in our reviews, we ship the review with the lower score and say so plainly. If we ever change that policy, we will say so on this page first and disclose every affected review — same lock as the sponsored-review prohibition on /methodology §5.
