HostingProf respects copyright. If you believe content on this site infringes a copyright you own, please submit a takedown notice using the procedure below. We respond promptly to properly-formed notices and remove or disable infringing material.
1. How to submit a takedown notice
A valid DMCA notice must include all of the following, per 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or authorized agent).
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
Identification of the material on hostingprof.com claimed to be infringing — include the full URL of each affected page.
Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, email.
A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Send completed notices to our designated agent (§3) by email AND postal mail. Notices missing any of the elements above may be returned for completion before processing.
2. Counter-notice procedure
If you believe material you posted was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice per 17 U.S.C. §512(g). A valid counter-notice must include:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court covering the address you provide (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which HostingProf may be found).
A statement that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we forward it to the original complainant. If no court action is filed within 10–14 business days, the material may be restored.
